Umbrella Enterprise Software usage spreads in the Market

The Enterprise version of the popular Umbrella ERP software is being adopted by an increasing number of larger companies.

Umbrella Enterprise includes industry-specific enhancements that larger customers need to meet their operational requirements. The benefit customer’s gain by implementing Umbrella Enterprise is a computer project that is generally far less costly and quicker to implement than traditional ERP systems. The ease of use of Umbrella allows for a reduction in administration costs and the tight integration between modules reduces the need for manual intervention.

Umbrella ERP is particularly useful for Services companies that operate in ICT, Rail, Mining, Repair & Refurbishment and do Project-based work.

The latest enhancement added to Umbrella is a Purchasing RFQ (Request for Quotation) system. The Purchasing system notes the demand for product from stocking policies (Minimum / Maximum Stock Levels), requirements to meet customer orders, production and jobs or projects. RFQ’s may be sent to Suppliers linked to stock items, including preferred Suppliers and any other Suppliers may be added. Responses from Suppliers with accompanying documentation are saved in Umbrella for review and selection and Purchase Orders are then generated based on promised prices, due dates and specifications. This is particularly important for technical companies where the product specification is vital in the selection process. Full traceability back to the Supplier Quotation is saved for future reference if needed.
